Malaysia's Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs has announced that compensation will be fully paid by the insurance of Malaysia Airlines to all families of passengers of missing flight MH370.
In a press conference on Thursday, Deputy Foreign Minister Hamzah Zainuddin said an advanced payment of $50,000 per claimant had been received by the families of seven passengers of MH370.

Hamzah, who led a sub-committee tasked to resolve the issues of the missing flight's next-of-kin, disclosed that the full payment would be paid after the issue of MH370 was over.
"Whether the plane is found, or we announce the plane is lost, there will be a time that we will announce certain issues," he declared.
Among the seven claimants, according to Hamzah, were six Malaysians and one Chinese national.
Meanwhile, the identities of 40 claimants for missing Chinese passengers were being checked by the Chinese government.
The families of the 40 Chinese passengers have so far agreed to a compensation package worth 50,000 US dollars. It will be paid once the identities of their relatives are confirmed.
Other passengers' families have yet to agree on a final deal.
Malaysian authorities assured that a full compensation process will be launched once a conclusion to the search and investigation is reached.
But after more than three months, the search yielded no concrete proof as to what happened to Flight MH370, and where it had gone.
It was due to land in Beijing from Kuala Lumpur at 6:30am on March 8, but it never arrived.
