Samsung is giving away a "Chef Tablet" but you've got to buy an appliance from the company's new kitchen collection of home appliances.
Samsung's new kitchen collection includes a refrigerator, a dish washer and an oven. Samsung said Monday they'll be giving away a kitchen-specific Galaxy tablet.

The tablet will be given away until March 31 if customers buy any of the new appliances. The tablet comes with a cutting board and a cooking app that works with the Samsung kitchen appliances.
The Chef collection is a standalone app and that also includes recipes from Samsung partners such as BigOven. Recipes from Samsung's professional chefs will also be in the app.
The app can still be used by others who didn't buy any of Samsung's new kitchen appliance, however.
Samsung isn't the first company to develop an app for chefs. A company called Archos made a tablet called "ChefPad" that does practically the same thing.
Also, to get the free Chef tablet from Samsung, the cheapest appliance (the dish washer) costs US$1,599.
