Watering Your Plants Has Become Easier With Parrot Pot

A pot that looks like any other pot has been introduced in the market. However, it does so much more than other flower containers, introducing, the "Parrot Pot".
This device is said to be controlled via Bluetooth and was introduced at the CES 2015. Basically, it can determine if your plant is thirsty or not and it begins to water it for you. The dreaded task of watering plants and keeping them alive has just become easier.

The pot stands a foot tall and its color is white. It has built-in sensors that would be able to read the level of fertilization of your plant, the temperature, and the level of moisture in the soil in order to let you know that the plant needs watering.
It can hold up to two liters of water, enough for at least three weeks to water your plant. The water can be poured into the opening of the pot somewhere on the side.
If you want the Parrot Pot to do all the work for you, you can set the app to "automatic" mode and it can water the plant itself by using the nozzles that are built on the top edge of the container. You can also estimate when to water the plant and just tap a button once you think the plant needs watering.
You just have to select the pant you own in the app's database and the Parrot Pot will be able to identify how many times the plant needs watering.
However, since it is connected via Bluetooth only, you can control the pot when you are near it. The project still has a long way to go, as you cannot leave your plant and go on a vacation expecting to come back to a moisturized and well-watered plant.
