Kanye West Goes on Crazy Rant at Bonnaroo

Kanye West is at it again, most recently letting loose a profanity-laced tirade aimed primarily at the press while performing at the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival on Friday.

West referenced his 2008 performance at Bonnaroo where he didn't start his set until 4:30am. As a result, the entertainer received a lot of backlash from fans and the media; however, he blamed his tardiness on Pearl Jam's three-hour performance, claiming he was "offended" by the criticism.

Apparently the rapper, who is well-known for his public rants, decided that now was the time to set things straight, stating that he played Bonnaroo in 2008 only six months after his mother had passed away.

Kanye West also wasn't afraid to flaunt his rather large ego by continuing his rant throughout the night and comparing himself to other great men.

"When I'm in the studio or doing an interview or making a T-shirt, I give everything I got. And when I talk that shit, it's so you can talk that shit. If you're fan of me, then you're fan of your motherf-ing self. I promise you as I stand here, 37 years old, this is only the beginning. I ain't concerned about anyone who's living. I ain't going after no one on the radio. I'm going after Walt Disney, Howard Hughes, Shakespeare." The rapper said.

West was quick to complain that the press was constantly trying to make him look crazy, saying:

"They try to make me look crazy. But I don't see them performing for 90,000 people right now."

The singer, who has proclaimed himself 'the number-one rock star in the world', has pulled stunts like this one before; most people recall that in 2009 Kanye interrupted Taylor Swift onstage as she was receiving the award for Best Female Video, and announced that he believed Beyoncé deserved the prize instead.

Prior to that, Kanye was already known for other outbursts at various awards shows over a period of several years.
