In the video games of today, the fates of the players largely depend on their timing and smallest of movements. The reaction time of the gamer contributes to his or her winning or losing greatly.
At E3 2014, SteelSeries announced its unique product Sentry, which will improve the overall gaming experience through eye tracking. The device is a about a foot long rectangular bar which can be connected to a PC's USB port, and it can track the eye movements of the gamer. With the help of this device the gamers can check how much time they take to make movements in a game, and can calculate their reaction time too.

Sentry will make it easier to collect parameters such as FPM or Fixations Per Minute and APM (Actions Per Minute). SteelSeries also announced that it is working with some of the best gamers of the world to establish high performance goals.
"A low FPM indicates the gamer can process a lot of information", the company stated.
Sentry is the collaboration product of two companies- Tobii and SteelSeries. The former of the two is a pioneer in the eye-tracking technology and is widely known for its developments and products pertaining to the sphere.
The official release date and the price of Sentel have not been announced yet. However, according to Tobii the product shall be commercialized by the end of 2014. The product page of the device on the website allows buyers to sign up so that they could be notified when the product hits the market.
