(Photo : Reuters) Comcast has continued its blockade of HBO Go on Sony's platforms.
Sony is already a little late to the Chinese video game console party, considering Microsoft has been selling the Xbox One in the region for more than two months, albeit to mixed success.
It looks like the PS4 will be delayed even further, following an intervention by the Chinese government, asking for adjustments to the gaming console. "The government asked us for final adjustments, which will take some time, so we decided to delay the launch date," Sony spokeswoman Kaede Bun said.

Sony did not detail the changes needed for the PS4 to go on sale in China, perhaps some hardware compliance under Chinese law was missed by Sony when bringing the console over to the region.
China recently lifted a ban on the sale of gaming consoles, enforced for 14 years. This has pushed most of the gaming community in China to phones and computers, creating a huge PC demographic for massively-multiplayer games like DoTA 2, League of Legends and Warcraft 3.
The early Xbox One reception ahs been mixed, while sales were quite high in the region compared to most of South-East Asia, Chinese buyer found various features unavailable in their region, even though Microsoft advertised them on the box.
Sony is also adding a few special services for the Chinese audience, but if the PS4 is going to succeed it needs to make sure the services are available at launch.
Sony did not set a date for when the PS4 would launch.
