Despite a massively successful career in pop, Alan Tam's personal life seems to have suffered. Case in point, his 30 year marriage to Sally Yeung has fallen apart due to his extra marital affairs with reported mistress, Wendy Chu.
Yeung has been a driving force in her quest to grow her ex-husband's fortune, now reportedly reaching over $1 billion HKD. The couple has since invested in various restaurants, bars and even the gemstone industry. To date, Tam owns various luxury properties in Hong Kong. But despite her loyalty, Tam's wandering eye seems to have caught Wendy Chu's, who has now given birth to Tam's first child, Tam Hiu Fung.

Since then, reports of Yeung retreating into her life in Buddhism has run rampant. While nursing a broken heart, she has since taken up residence at a local Buddhist temple and the couple now rarely speak to each other.
According to rumors, Tam's love for his wife "are more gratitude than romantic love. Alan feels that he has wronged Sally. That is why after so many years, Alan still allows Sally to have primary control over his assets."
Despite their separation, Yeung has been left to care for Tam's various investments. But according to reports, she is now filing for divorce to fulfill her intentions of becoming a nun. This essentially means that Tam's assets, once handled by his wife, now has to be transferred back to the star.
Allegedly, his mistress Chu, has now been taking accounting classes to take over for his ex-wife's role as financial manager.
