A big and angry camel killed two people after trampling them at a farm in Texas, the Wichita Falls sheriff's office reported.
Deputy sheriffs found a very large and irate camel with blood on his mouth and on his chest when they made it to the Camel Kisses Camel Farm on Saturday afternoon.

The authorities found the bodies Mark Mere, 53, and Peggy McNair, 72, who owns the farm, in the area where the camel was standing. Game wardens took down the humped animal. Witnesses said the camel was in a pen with two female camels when Mere walked to the area. He was supposed to check the frozen water trough when was attacked.
Reports said that as Mere attempted to leave the pen, McNair scrambled to close the gate. The camel trampled both of them.
In a media statement, Wichita County Sheriff David Duke said it took several deputies a couple of minutes to move the camel to another location because the animal was acting aggressively. The agitated camel apparently hoofed both victims to death, he said.
The remains of the two victims will checked in an autopsy in Tarrant County. Wichita Falls is on the Texas border with Oklahoma.
A local newspaper reported that McNair, who used to be a bank vice president, had been caring for camels in his farm for nearly two decades. The paper said the camels and the farm were a popular destination for children.
