Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Audi revealed prototypes of their autonomous vehicles at CES 2015 in Las Vegas
BMW went one further by unveiling a car it says is "uncrashable."
CNN said one of the stand-out main features of this self-driving car from BMW is that it's been engineered to stop on its own as soon as it detects something in front, up to a distance of several millimeters.

In addition to the "uncrashable" feature of the BMW prototype, Auto Line also reported about the vehicle's "safety cocoon" system that works within an entire 360 degree angle. Of course, the car can also park itself, much like others also showcased at CES 2015.
Mercedes-Benz's offering is the F 015 Luxury in Motion displayed at the event. Volkswagen and Ford are said to have their own smart vehicles in the works.
