The "Je Suis Charlie" (I Am Charlie) app has already gone live at Apple's App store after supporters of the satirical magazine in Paris emailed it to Apple CEO Tim Cook.
Islamic terrorists attacked the Paris office of Charlie Hebdo last week, murdering 10 of its staff and two policemen. Another Islamic terrorist took hostages at a kosher market in Paris and was later killed by police. The terrorist murdered four of his hostages.

The Je Suis Charlie iPhone app became available Sunday. This is the first time an app has gone on sale in just a matter of minutes. Apple usually has a longer approval process where developers are asked to wait at least 10 to 15 days before their apps can be seen live on the App store.
According to sources, the app was already up and running just 10 minutes after the email was sent. The assistants of Cook responded to the email and the app was up soon thereafter.
The app was reportedly created by a French startup group. The app is free but is only downloadable for iPhone users. It intends to help users all over the world show their unity and solidarity with France after the terror attack.
The app shows a map of the user's area while a counter shows how many "Charlies" or supporters of the cause are nearby.
There are already 89,000 Charlies all over the world. You have to tap the Je Suis Charlie logo to add yourself to this growing number.
