Jamie Lynn Spears was caught on cam holding a knife during an altercation at a Louisiana eatery last month.
The 23-year-old mom and newlywed sister of pop princess Britney Spears hit the news as she tried to protect her friend with a knife in a heated scuffle at a Pita Pit in Louisiana.

Spears' party, though, has not made any comment regarding the issue.
Spears was joining a friend on her birthday and even Instagrammed their photo with the caption: "Happy Birthday @brandiblair22!!!"
After partying, the friends headed to Pita Pit in Hammond, LA, to have some snack, but what seemed to be a fulfilling stint at the sandwich shop ended in raucous brawl.
The security video was released by TMZ, where Spears was seen pulling her friend away from the fight and showing a seemingly seven-inch knife.
"I have been with The Pita Pit for several years, and have never seen anything like this before," the owner of Pita Pit, Jack Brighenti emailed a statement to People.
Based on the video footage, Spears' knife-waving act happened around 2 a.m. on Dec. 28.
"A group of males got into an altercation and for some reason Jamie Lynn Spears ran behind the counter and picked up a bread knife," Brighenti said.
Pita Pit's management immediately asked for help from the police, which immediately responded to the call.
