After doing a movie in Turkey, rumors have sparked that actor Liam Neeson is thinking of leaving his Roman Catholic faith to convert to Islam. The Taken 3 actor confirms that he is not changing his religion.
It was during the premiere and press conference of Taken 3 in Dubai that he cleared the rumors of him converting to Islam. The 62-year-old actor said firmly, "No, I'm not converting (to Islam)." This whole issue came out when he said he got into his spirit just when he encountered the Islamic call to prayer and it was during the time when he was filming Taken 2 in Istanbul, Turkey.

It just so happens that the call to prayer is held five times a day and for the first week of their filming, Neeson said that it will drive anyone crazy that it will just get in their spirit. He even added that it is the most beautiful thing.
Also at that same press conference, he opened up about the US culture when it comes to guns. The Irish actor addressed that there's just so many guns that are out there especially in the US, where he pointed out about 320 million of them are produced and privately owned. He didn't like that fact and said it was a disgrace.
The action star known for his many movies involving firing guns apparently supports gun control. It's a complete contradiction to the character that he portrays on his movies especially as a gun toting and former-spy Dad Bryan Mills in Taken trilogy. When asked about his stand about the issue, he said that his roles in movies are nothing but a fantasy and in real life; he'd rather not have guns involve.
