Taiwanese actor Kai Ko is rumored to be in a relationship with Taiwanese Mando-pop singer Tia Li after being spotted at a bar in Taipei, allegedly cozying up with each other.

Following his drug bust scandal with Jaycee Chan and being away from the limelight for several months following his 14-day imprisonment, Ko spoke of staying away from the night life scene. However, five months after the scandal, the controversial actor has yet been spotted a local bar on an alleged night date with Li. This news has sparked rumors that the actor is currently dating the singer.

According to Tiawanese media reports, recently, Ko has been spotted at a bar after meeting with four other friends. The 23-year old actor is said to be wearing a cap in order to avoid the attention of the public that evening. Ko was allegedly smoking at the bar while checking his phone from time to time, giving rise to speculations that he was waiting for a message or a call from someone.

Furthermore, according to media outlets, at around 3 AM, a woman with long hair arrived at the bar and casually sat down beside Ko. Gossip reports claim that the lady who joined the actor and his friends was Tia Li. Witnesses also claimed that the two stars behaved in an intimate manner, giving off the impression that they were a couple. Based on accounts about said incident, Ko left the bar along with his friends and Li after an hour.

After the reports came out, Ko's manager addressed the issue and came to the actor's defense, saying that Ko was spotted at a bar, not a night club and that it wasn't enough grounds to accuse the actor of backsliding to his old ways. The manager then added that Ko met with the singer and his friends in order to discuss their plans on opening a restaurant.

Ko also responded to the issue and stated that he and Li are just good friends and are not in a relationship.
