South Korean international actor Lee Byung Hun's controversial blackmail lawsuit against model Lee Ji Yeon and GLAM member Kim Da Hee has finally come to an end today, January 15, resulting to imprisonment sentences for the two women.
Byung Hun, who has not attended the final hearing for the so-called 'five million-dollar blackmail case' today due to personal commitments in the USA, has won the lawsuit against Lee and Kim, following the prosecution which started in September of last year.

Lee and Kim have been accused by the court of blackmailing Byung Hun for $5 million USD or approximately $5 billion KRW along with threats that they will release a secret video clip that would implicate his career and personal image.
The Seoul District Court has decided against Lee and Kim, who were said to have committed federal crimes, and were sentenced to one year and two months imprisonment and one year imprisonment respectively, a lighter sentence compared to the 3-year imprisonment previously proposed by the prosecution.
The court explained that Lee did not seem to have done the crime after a sudden breakup with Byung Hun, but the jury found it to be a premeditated crime she has committed for financial gain. Furthermore, the court discovered that Lee has been in a relationship with another individual during her alleged relationship with Byung Hun.
According to media reports, the court mentioned, "Signs of Lee Ji Yeon and Lee Byung Hun being in a relationship were not found especially since the number of times the two met personally was in fact very little."
It has been stated that due to these reasons, there can be no excuses to what Lee did and she has been later accused of committing defamation for insisting on having a relationship with the actor.
On the other hand, the court has also revealed that in the video clip that Lee and Kim threatened Byung Hun with, the actor can be heard saying jokes with sexual innuendos.
Byung Hun was then pointed out by the court to be at fault for 'meddling with those who were many years younger than him, mentioning sexual jokes' when he is already a married individual.
During their final statements, Lee and Kim apologized for causing controversy and reflected upon their actions which they've personally deemed as 'immature'.
