Apple might be launching the 12-inch MacBook Air earlier this year.
Apple is reportedly working on a 12-inch MacBook Air, and it is the first time that a new design is expected after the Retina MacBook Pro release in 2012. According to rumors, the MacBook Air will be shown in mid-2015 during Apple's WWDC (Worldwide Developers Conference).
The 2015 Apple MacBook Air series will be launched soon and more information is being revealed, promising an upgraded laptop line. According to reports, the Cupertino tech giant is already working on a MacBook Air with the Retina technology including a new design and chipset. Analysts said that if Apple can achieve the predicted and leaked features of the upcoming MacBook Air, it could prove to be the best MacBook line to date.

Apple failed to release an impressive MacBook update in 2014 and fans were disappointed not to see a Retina MacBook Air. Reports say that the Retina MacBook Air is worth the wait because it will feature Intel's latest Broadwell-U chip. It will also have quieter and thinner designs. Other reports claim that the upcoming MacBook Retina Air will have the iOS device integration or continuity capability which allows users to work interchangeably with other Apple products such as the iPad, iPhone and iPod. The new MacBook Air will also introduce a new and improved charging method.
Apple will focus more on its computer line and fans can expect a new MacBook breed next year. The new model is said to sport a USB type C connector with silver, gold and gray color variants. It will have a 12-inch build with more energy-efficient processors and improved clamshell structure.
Apple still leads the global PC market by 14 percent in the year's second quarter. According to research firm Canalys, the worldwide shipments of Apple tablet declined by five percent or 48.8 million units in the second quarter of 2014. The report said that Samsung and Apple allowed traditional computer makers Dell and Lenovo to step up. Experts believe that the PC market will recover stability since the tablets were first introduced to the market nearly four years ago.
