Known hip-hop rapper Snoop Dogg has a new addition to his family and no, he and his wife are not pregnant but their eldest son Corde Broadus recently became a father to a baby boy they named Zion.

Snoop Dogg, 43, announced the great news on his Instagram account where he posted a video of his 21-year old son Corde holding his newborn grandson.

"Proud grandad. My son spank n grandson Zion!! Jah bless," the rapper captioned his Instagram post.

The rapper is now a new grandfather to a healthy and bouncing baby boy. He got so excited about this that he even posted a photo collage, which features pictures of Zion with their relatives. He also captioned it with, "Zion. U have a lot of love waitn on u grandson!!" he wrote.

Famous hip-hop site XXL Mag reported that the rapper was out of town when his grandson was born. It has been quite an interesting but most definitely an exciting week for the rapper and his entire family.

The rapper also has a TV new series called Snoop & Son: A Dad's Dream that made its debut on ESPN on January 14, 2015. The series showcases the journey of the rapper's son Cordell Broadus, pursuing his dreams of being an athlete and as a star wide receiver as he attends Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas.

Fans have been so supportive of Snoop Dogg's family that his twitter and his Instagram were commented with lots of congratulations coming from them. There are still some haters but the rapper just chooses to shrug them off and focus on the positive things going on with his family at the moment, after all there are so many reasons to celebrate.
