Tavia Yeung’s Slow But Steady Rise to Stardom

Tavia Young is one of those actresses you'd love to really fall in love with. Other than being one of Hong Kong's seasoned actresses, the 35-year-old acting powerhouse has definitely established herself as one of the most popular in her generation.

Tavia's slow-but definitely steady rise to popularity, however, stemmed from her lack of driving ambitions.

"I don't consider myself a celebrity, because I am only trying to perform well at a job. I've spent a lot of time showing everyone my progression from an amateur actress to my development of acting skills," she said.

Her career also used to suffer from her bout with illnesses due to her strong work ethic. Among the medical conditions that plagued her included persisting cold, irregular menstruation, and back and neck aches that reached the point when the pain was too excruciating enough that she was unable to sleep.

Emotional anxiety has also been one of her problems. She remembered that she had the problem containing her emotion when filming the The Other Truth, causing her to burst into tear.

Tavia, however, has surmounted those problems since then and now enjoys the peak of her career.

Tavia has been lately under the media spotlight over her rumored relationship with Him Law.

The two have been the talk of the town after she and Law where photographed in a rather controversial position inside the vehicle. The couple, however, remained unnerved and their relationship actually flourished.

"After this incident, we established a trusting attitude and will face issues together. A lot of people talk about how he is younger than me, but he is actually very mature," he said.

Nevertheless, the couple neither confirmed nor denied their relationship.

"I feel that our mutual support and silent encouragement of each other is more important than publicly announcing that we belong to each other. Him and I place more emphasis on what's inside our hearts," Tavia said.
