The news about Dubai's 28-year-old crown prince Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum getting married to a former street girl has gone viral online, but the story is a hoax.
A report published by the World News Daily Report said the crown prince is about to tie the knot with 23-year-old Palestinian street girl Kalila Said.

According to Al Bawaba, a news site that focuses on Middle East affairs, Hamdan met Said last year while working on a charitable cause in a shanty neighborhood in Dubai.
The report went said that Said had only agreed to start seeing Prince Hamdan three months after they met. Sources said that prince's father threatened to disown him if he continues the relationship.
Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum apparently had a change of heart and later on gave his blessing to the couple. Hamdan had been previously engaged to his cousin Sheikha Sheikha Al Maktoum, but had called the wedding off early this year, the report detailed.
However, the almost real-life fairytale engagement, which has been widely circulated in both Facebook and Twitter, turned out to be false. The story was written by an anonymous character and has generated quite a buzz online, Emirates Woman reported.
One clue to the story being a hoax is the location of the charity project that brought them together. There are no shanty towns near Dubai.
The hoax article also showed a photo of the Crown Prince next to an attractive girl. But a trace on the image revealed that the photo was dated 2010 and was taken from the site Flickr. Based on the caption, that woman is an "Iraqi singer" and actress who was later identified as Rahma Riad.
Many women had expressed their disappointment at the prince's supposed engagement, remarking how lucky the lady was and how Hamdan was already off the "market."
The Crown Prince of Dubai is currently active on Twitter, but his timeline did not show any telltale sign of his "engagement." His latest post was a photo with his father at the Royal Ascot races opening in the UK.
Many people had apparently missed a disclaimer posted on the World News Daily Report. The disclaimer explained that the website is a "satire web publication" containing "presumably fake news." The statement said the stories they publish are almost entirely based on fiction.
In that regard, the ladies out there can go on pining for the Crown Prince as he is still available for their desired fairytale love story.
