The Critics' Choice Awards has always been interesting, but this year's awards is even more interesting since it is the first time since the 2009 Oscars, that Brad Pitt's wife Angelina Jolie and ex-wife Jennifer Aniston are together in the same room.
Most of the attendees present must have been on the look out on what would happen once the two women met, but surprisingly enough, not once did they cross paths!

The women arrived just around 5 minutes apart. Jennifer, together with her fiancé Justin Theroux arrived on the red carpet at 5:32 pm, while Angelina, who chose to attend the event solo, arrived at 5:37 pm.
After arriving at the venue, Jennifer and Justin chose to hang out somewhere near the ballroom and only went in just seconds before the show started-ensuring that there would be no awkward encounters. Jennifer and Angelina were seated on completely opposite sides of the ballroom. On the first commercial break, Jennifer can be seen chatting it up with Emily Blunt while Angelina mingled with critics and took some photos fans.
After two commercial breaks, Jennifer and Justin exited the ballroom. Jennifer went to the bathroom, while Justin grabbed a few drinks. While Jennifer ran into Reese Witherspoon and Julianne Moore, Angelina chose to stay seated inside the ballroom. At this time, the show went live and Jennifer and Justin missed seeing Angelina on stage. By the time it was Angelina's turn to go to the bathroom, Jennifer and Justin are already inside the ballroom and back at their table.
Right after the awards show ended, Jennifer and Justin hurriedly said goodbye to their friends, while Angelina was still socializing with Eddie Redmayne. Once Jennifer and Justin were nowhere in sight, Angelina took her turn to leave.
