During the post-round interviews, Li said" "It was a lot of fun. I guess that it was fun because I had two great playing partners. They were really nice," talking about Catherine O'Donnell and Jessica Wallace. "It was fun I guess because I did a good job of staying patient and going to the next shot and not caring what happens."

Catherine O'Donnel is a four-time, all-ACC player from the University of North Carolina who graduated in 2012.

"She's way better than I was expecting," said O'Donnell about Li. "She's a great player. She hits it out there farther than I was expecting to. She hit it by me twice, I wasn't really happy about that. But no she's - I mean she's a joy to play with, too. Couldn't have been nicer. Very intelligent girl. And Jess and I just had a great time playing with her today."

"It was a lot of fun," said Canada's 23-year-old Jessica Wallace. "I know Catherine from college, junior golf, we've played together before, and Lucy was a pleasure to play with. We had a lot of fun talking to her, getting to know her. And it was a pleasure."

"She is so mature for her age. There were times when I felt more immature than she is. But just the way she handles herself on the golf course. She is mature beyond her years. I thought she handled herself really well out there. Her first U.S. Open, she's 11 years old. Who knows what people were expecting out of her this week. And I thought she played the course well. She's capable of playing well on this course. She hits the ball a good distance for an 11 year old. So it was a pleasant surprise playing with her," Wallace added.
