Police are searching for a black man in dark clothes and blue cap riding a 10-speed or racing bike. That man is the suspect in the shooting on Friday night of real estate executive Kameron Segal who was seated inside his Rolls Royce in Hollywood when the incident happened.
The 48-year-old property magnate was hit close range twice in the neck. His luxury vehicle was parked behind his company, William Holdings Inc., found at the 7500 block of Sunset Boulevard, west of North Gardner Street, reports LA Times.

Segal was rushed to the Cedars-Sinai hospital. He is in critical but stable condition on Saturday.
Josh Karp, who works as salesman at Meltdown Comics which is located near William Holdings, recalled seeing a naked man, but bandaged, step out of the Rolls Royce and walk to an ambulance.
William Holdings owns 19 apartment buildings in Los Angeles. When the shooting occurred, Segal was about to buy a US$5-million building in downtown LA, reports KNBC-TV. He was waiting for business partner which explains why he was seated inside his Rolls Royce.
A day after the shooting, Segal's blood stain could still be seen on one of the parking stalls.
LAPD spokeswoman Jane Kim said the department is exploring all possibilities behind the sudden attack because it doesn't indicate robbery as a motive.
Segal is also known to be a generous man, according to Mytchell Mora, a friend of the property magnate. Mora recounted allowed a mother and daughter to live rent-free for six months in one of his apartments when Mora informed Segal that the daughter went through treatment for brain cancer. He also made the same assistance to a homeless woman in Hollywood.
