Watch Out for Apple’s iWatch Set to be Launched in October

iWatch's production is to start very soon, as sources reveal information of this much anticipated and "slightly rectangular" watch.
According to sources Apple has appointed Quanta for the production and commercialization of its smart-watches. The smartwatch, which would be most likely called as an iWatch, would have 2.5 cm diagonal display. However, if previous such reports are to be believed then its size would be smaller, which would be about 1.5 inches.

If the Apple releases the smartwatch then it would meet with some really tough market competition, since other famous brands such as Samsung, LG, and Sony already have their smartwatches in the market. Their watches are capable of tracking fitness and health parameters, providing notifications, and many such other features. Hence, it would be very interesting to see how Apple works its way through.
Apple was requested to comment on the launch and updates of their new product, the smartwatch. However, the company didn't respond to the request. Previously though, Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple had said that the company would launch many exciting products this year.
According to sources, about 50 million units would be shipped within the first year itself. Such kind of figure is plausible, especially if we take a look at the sales of iPhones and iPads last year- 150 million, and 71 million respectively.
It is expected that the watch will have wireless charging feature, and will have a touch interface.
