"Weird Al" Yankovic, music's top pop parodist who had us ROTFLOL to send-ups such as "Eat It" and "White & Nerdy," will release his first new album in three years in July.

He's just announced over Twitter that his latest compilation of parodies and original songs will be released on July 15. His final tweet was an image of him beardless, sporting his trademark long hair and dressed in what appears to be a military uniform. Below his picture is the phrase "July 15."

The new album will be "Weird Al's" 15th studio album and his first since 2011's "Alpocalypse."

TMZ reported that Yankovic talked to Australian recording artist Iggy Azalea to ask permission to parody one of her songs. No word on exactly what song "Weird Al" wants but Iggy's "Pu$$y," "Two Times" and "Fancy," which hit number one on the US Billboard Hot 100, are strong candidates.

American stand-up comedian Patton Oswalt dropped a clue about one of "Weird Al's" latest novelty songs on Twitter back in May: "Just listened to @alyankovic's upcoming album & I am in awe," he wrote. "He satirizes a band I've worshiped since the 90s & it...is...beautiful."

"Weird Al's" shot down rumors he intends to retire after the release of his latest album. He's been in the music business since 1976 and shot to fame with "Eat It," his hilarious parody of Michael Jackson's hit single, "Beat It."

In a blog post this month, however, "Weird Al" said he had no plans of retiring and was weighing his options.

"I truly love what I do, and if I ever stop working, it won't be of my own free will," he wrote.

Alfred Matthew Yankovic is also a record producer, music video director and author, among others. He published his second children's book, My New Teacher and Me! in 2013.

From 1976 to 2007, he sold 12 million albums; recorded more than 150 parody and original songs and has performed over 1,000 live shows.

He's won three Grammy Awards, four gold records and six platinum records in the U.S. "Weird Al's" first top ten Billboard single was White & Nerdy released in 2006. His first top ten Billboard album, Straight Outta Lynwood, was also released in 2006.
