Christina Milian wanted to get her mother a tattoo for her birthday but she ended up getting one for herself, too.

"I'm super proud of her [my mother] for getting this tattoo, but now I want to get something pierced," the 33-year-old reality TV star said. She went on that she wanted to get pierced on her nipple.

The singer-actress got the entire processed documented so while she was topless at parlor, she eventually realized getting pierced is not an easy process.

Thw Love Don't Cost A Thing star was eventually happy that she survived the painful process.

"Oh my god that hurt so bad," she said. "My nipple is in pain," she continued.

The TV celebrity also likened getting pierced to giving birth. She gave birth to her four-year-old daughter Violet in  February 2010.

"Getting my nipple pierced was definitely worse than childbirth," she said, although giving birth, definitely, was quicker.

"Child birth - 19 hours, piercing - 2 seconds," she noted.

Before the two got into the parlor, Christina was photographed trying to convince her mom, Carmen Milian, for a tattoo treat.

"You haven't lived till you've gotten a tattoo," she told her.

Her mom was really shocked and delighted with the whole process.

"I cant believe Tina brought me here," Carmen didn't believe at first but she also revealed that the whole experience something unforgettable.

She said she'd love to have a tattoo but she didn't expect to get it on her birthday.  She got inked anyway.
