Betty White Gets Emotional With Surprise Flash Mob She Got For 93rd Birthday

Betty White, the iconic TV legend whose career dates back in 1939, will turn 93 and what better way to surprise her than a flash mob of hula dancers!

The team from TV Land's Hot in Cleveland just gave their star the surprise of their life.

White always comes to work every day greeted by her assistant with a hula dance. This time, though, it's more special because a hula-dancing flash mob with dancers wearing grass skirts and Hawaiian leis all welcomed TV's dear old lady.

White, whose show is currently on its sixth and final season, was riding a golf cart driven by her co-star Dave Foley.

She definitely enjoyed the flash mob as she was seen clapping and dancing. She was also given her own lei. A special dance (and heartfelt hugs) also saw costars Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves and Wendie Malick was also performed for her.

She then turned emotional when the group held the "Happy Birthday, Betty." The group then cried out "At 93, you shouldn't be doing this!"

White was recently honored with the TV icon award at the People's Choice Awards and the moment was made even more unforgettable when hunky Hulk actor Chris Evans volunteered to escort her on her way to the stage.

From her lowly beginnings as a radio personality in 1939, White slowly but steadily built on her reputation as one of TV's indomitable performers. In his book TV Sirens, Michael McWilliams quipped that "If Lucille Ball is the Queen of Television, then its Princess is Betty White." She was honored by the Guinness World Records as the actress with the longest television career in history and is forever memorable for her TV roles, first as Sue Ann Nivens on The Mary Tyler Moore Show (1973-77) and then as Rose Nylund on The Golden Girls (1985-92).
