Hong Kong actor Savio Chang finally spoke on why he decided to join HKTV.
The seasoned actor revealed that he "wanted change" with his career, which is why he moved to HKTV.
"When you spend a long time at a station without improvement, another opportunity will come along," he said in an interview.

He said his transfer came after HKTV's Ricky Wong invited him to try out working on HKTV.
"I've been at TVB for many years and I wanted to try something new. Actually, it's just finding an opportunity for myself to make a breakthrough. I hope that I can spring back up. Whether or not I become successful, at least I left my comfort zone. I can gain experience from different areas," he said, hinting that he wants to revive his career that has long faltered since he transferred from ATV to TVB in the 1990s.
Savio was once one of the biggest actors at ATV in the 1980s, but has been sidelined to playing character roles at TVB, where he remained for two decades.
Savio also came under the spotlight for his long-term relationship with actress Cutie Mui. Their 13-year romance eventually ended in separation after Savio fell for Malaysian star Yip Lai Yee, which affected his image and saw his career plunge.
Savio now plays a starring role in The Election and To Be or Not To Be, two TV shows that feature him as a cheating husband.
Savio slammed his critics for being too judgmental.
"In this society, people will always remember the bad things - they usually forget the good. Who would remember how many awards you've won, how many times you've become TV King or Queen? But if you do one bad thing like smoke one cigarette, use a drug once - people will remember you forever!," he said.
Savio's relationship with Yip Lai Yee did not last long and they broke up after three years. The 53-year-old star said his love life will now have to take the backseat as he focuse more on his career.
