Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev has reportedly been having a hard time coping with her co-star and ex-boyfriend Ian Somerhalder's engagement to Twilight actress Nikki Reed-but recently, she went out with her best friend Julianne Hough for a fun girls' night out who appeared to be helping her move on and forget about the news.

Nina and Julianne were both present at Nine Zero One salon's opening on their new location on Melrose Place in West Hollywood. A fellow partygoer told People magazine that, "She [Nina] was in good spirits and was letting loose," "She always seemed to be talking to someone new and at one point in the evening briefly took her heels off and carried them, walking around the salon barefoot!"
At least Nina was having fun and enjoying her time with her friends-we all know how difficult it has been for her since news about Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed's engagement surfaced. When Nina first found out about the engagement, she was said to be devastated and cannot believe that the couple has moved on too fast.
"She is completely shocked. She heard the news from mutual friends and can only shake her head in disbelief. She knew Ian and Nikki were into each other but she never thought in a million years they would get married this quickly! It's a tough pill to swallow, " a source revealed.
