Psychologists pointed that such inquietude was actually the same with the anxiety people suffer before important examinations and during emergencies in life. In psychology, experts call it "stress event", people who experience this should make adjustment by him or herself for better treatment. From the angles of college students' growth, social and economic development, medium anxiety is actually a favorable factor, it can lead better learning and working performance.

How to cope with such tough job-hunting situation: appropriately control your anxiety

College graduates should treat this issue rationally.

People possibly could not adjust to "Stress event" like employment anxiety, pre-exam nerves, earthquake, etc, we need to make some changes. And experts introduced the following coping methods:

1.Avoiding or eliminating the source of "stress event". It is hard to land a job in first -tier cities, then you can try second or third-tier cities. Positions of state-owned enterprises are competitively popular, so why not try foreign or private enterprises, or even start a business on your own?

2. Change your cognition. Graduates need to reduce expectation, you need to understand the actual position demand of the society nowadays, which is much lower than that of years ago. If the position offered are lower than your expectation, you need to develop a mentality of "no matter how much the salary is, I can learn something from doing this job", and this can lessen your pressure.

3. Increase your controllability and predicability. Graduates can actively inquire the actual graduate numbers of various majors, the concrete demands of positions and regional distribution, etc.

4.Engaging on time planning.

5.Learning some interpersonal skills, like how to dress decently, express clearly, try eye contact, better reflections of previous failures, etc.

6.Releasing yourself from time to time.

7.Seeking social support, including communicating with your classmates, teachers, families, or professional psychologists.
