A hopeful fan of the National Football League's (NFL) Seattle Seahawks wants to trade the winning football he caught during the amazing comeback NFC Championship game against the Green Bay Packers, for a trip to the Super Bowl.
At the end of the NFC Championship game, Jermaine Kearse caught the football in the end zone. It was a 35-yard pass from Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson in overtime. The touchdown would give his team the win and send them to the Super Bowl, with hopes of winning the Super Bowl for a second year in a row.

In order to celebrate, Kearse threw the football into the stands. It fell into the likely hands of one fan who wants to trade it for an opportunity to go to the Super Bowl.
The fan's name is Scott Shelton.
Local media reports said that the fan with the game-winning football has already rebuffed a US $20,000 offer for the ball. All he really wants is the ticket.
After the game, local media also reported that Kearse ran straight up the stands and to the fan to ask for the ball back. He offered to exchange a game jersey and a helmet signed by the team.
Shelton promptly said no, but Kearse was still persistent and asked what he really wanted in exchange for the ball. Recounting his conversation with Kearse, Shelton said he honestly wanted to see the Seahawks beat the Patriots at the Super Bowl.
"So, he's going to see what he can do about that," Shelton said.
When Reuters requested for comments from Shelton and the Seahawks, neither immediately responded.
Apart from the Super Bowl trip, Shelton also made it clear that he would only be willing to part with the game ball if it went to Kearse.
When asked about why he threw the ball and then moments later asked to get it back, Kearse said that it was an act of impulse. He explained it as a sort of release from frustration after the team struggled early in the game.
