Brazil's football star Neymar scores two goals against Cameroon with a final score of 4-1 clinching the top spot of Group A at the 2014 International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) World Cup held at Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

22-year-old poster-boy Neymar scored his two goals in the first half of play. Inspired by his goals, two other Brazilian players, Fred and Fernandinho, scored goals at the second half as well.

"The team has got back that spirit that we used to have," Fernandinho said after the game.

With the two goals scored by Neymar, this made him the top scorer of the World Cup so far.

Brazil's coach Luiz Felipe Scolari said: "Maybe we tried to hurry things a bit too much early on, when we scored our first goal and let anxiety get to us. We need to show more calm and composure. Fortunately we ironed out some flaws at half-time and after the break we used the ball better again."

This sparked a massive celebration all over Brazil as fireworks flew in the air and crowds gathered for a day of celebration.

This win sets Brazil up against Group B runner-up Chile in the knockout rounds starting Saturday at the Estadio Mineirao in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

Netherlands, who topped Group B by winning all of its matches, will be facing the fiery Mexicans who placed second to Brazil because of goal difference and will be playing Sunday at the Estadio Castelao in Fortaleza.

The Dutchmen are potentially the most dangerous opponent of the Brazilians since they placed second to defending champions Spain, who has been eliminated already, during the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

Having not appeared in the past two World Cups, Brazil is fired up to achieve their sixth World Cup title which they last won in 2002.
