Kenneth Ma Thinks Casual Dating is 'A Waste Of Money'

Kenneth Ma finds it a waste of money to go on casual dating... and he is not in a hurry to get married.
TVB's top bachelor star is always under the limelight amidst rumors of dating various actresses.
"When you're in this industry, everyone knows what's going on. It's just for laughs. If both parties are single, there's a chance for rumors. That way, you can attend functions together as a couple," the 40-year-old TVB talent said.

"Men aren't like women who have a set time to get married. If the time comes, you can just get married. No one at home is rushing me. My mother just says that the house is not big enough," he explained why he is still not in a rush to get married.
Ma also stressed that he is not into dating girls for dating's sake. He said if ever he dates at all, he'd be dating someone who would be his potential spouse.
"Since I'm practical, I feel that dating wastes a lot of money and time. Only when I come across the right person will I use my energy, time and money to invest. Thus, I never date casually," he said.
Ma has recently emerged as TVB's top guy, with Raymond Lam's departure and Ron Ng and Bosco Wong's decision to focus their acting on Mainland dramas. Nevertheless, he doesn't mind the title.
"In honesty, titles aren't important to me. Perhaps I'm a realistic person - you can only begin to think about other things if you earn enough money to ensure a good life," he said.
Ma is also looking forward to appearing on Mainland dramas due to the hefty paycheck their stars get.
