Dark Horse singer, Katy Perry must be a really big fan of the sensational girl group, TLC!
Just a day after Tionne Watkins, "T-Boz" and Rozonda Thomas, "Chili" launched their campaign to fund their fifth and final album on Kickstarter, Katy reportedly contributed a sizeable amount to their cause.

Watkins expressed her gratitude to Katy on Twitter and said, "A BIG Special THANK YOU 2 @katyperry for her pledge to our #Kickstarter Campaign! Your awesome!"
As E! reported, the popular singer-songwriter contributed US$5000 to the campaign.
It was only last Monday when the group launched their Kickstarter campaign, but it has already raised more than US$138,000, just a little shy of their goal of US$150,000. The campaign still has 28 more days to go, so fans of the group who want to hear new tracks still have more time to donate.
For fans who cannot wait for their new album to be released reportedly later this year, the good news is, you can catch TLC live. Last January 20, members of the boy band, New Kids on the Block revealed that TLC will be joining them for The Main Event tour, along with Nelly.
The tour starts on May 1 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. The boy band's Joey McIntyre said, "It's going to be one big, huge, massive party. That's a lot of hit records in one night. I'm excited." Tickets for their summer tour will go on sale on January 31.
