Tom Felton, best remembered for portraying the devious Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter franchise, told fans via Twitter that he is now officially a part of Pottermore, JK Rowling's fansite about anything Harry Potter.
And there's a surprise-he was assigned to Gryffindor.
"Today was the day. I finally did it. I joined Pottermore and was sorted into........Gryffindor. Heart broken," he tweeted with the hashtag #slytherinforlife

In Rowling's "Harry Potter" books Gryffindor is one of the boarding houses of the wizardry schoo. Gryffindor was where Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley were living. The other boarding houses were Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin.
Draco, meanwhile, was living in Slytherin, together with his pure-blooded magical lineage and Lord Voldemort, who is also known as He Who Must Not Be Named.
JK Rowling sent Felton a tweet, which rather nodded on Felton's boarding house assignment.
"@TomFelton I could've told you that years ago. I just didn't want to spoil your motivation ;)" the best selling author tweet in response to his post.
Nevertheless, even the Potter world creature's confirmation did not satisfy the Rise of the Planet of the Apes star. He posted on Instagram his reaction of his reclassification.
"Oh bollocks! x" he wrote, while posting a picture of himself staring at his laptop screen's rather disappointing results.
