What's worse, taking advantage of this bug, any third-party applications could send fraud text messages and multimedia messages and put unmarked messages into inbox secretly to attract S4 users in the name of friends, family, banks and so on.

Experts also pointed that besides S4 users, users of other Samsung cellphones including S3 and Note2 might be affected by the bug as well.
Considering that there are large numbers of users of Samsung and the threat of the bug is quite huge, Qihoo 360 informed Samsung and the other relative department in China of the bug report immediately after Qihoo 360 found the bug.
Meanwhile, Qihoo 360 came up with a solution in regarding to Samsung official software patches to provide additional protections to cellphones. This new software will have an eye on those malwares and remind users to avoid text message fraud.
