Sudanese woman Meriam Ibrahim has been rearrested together with her husband and two kids on Tuesday after she was released from death row on Monday.
National Intelligence and Security Services (NISS) agents detained the family 24 hours after the 27-year-old Christian woman was released by the appeals court. The family was arrested at Khartoum airport while they were attempting to fly to another country.

Ibrahim's lawyer, Elshareef Mohammed, said more than 40 NISS agents apprehended his client's family as they were about to board a plane bound for the U.S. Her husband, Daniel Wani, is an American citizen.
In an interview with the Guardian, Elshareef said the family was "very angry" and that they have not been allowed to talk to lawyers. He added that the appeals court had not imposed travel restrictions on his client.
The lawyer went on to express his concern about the situation. He said political conflicts within the government over Ibrahim's case may have influenced the decision to detain her.
After Ibrahim's release on Monday, she was taken to a safe house together with Wani and the two children to ensure their safety.
Ibrahim had been charged with apostasy, flogged for adultery after the court ruled her marriage to a Christian man as invalid, and sentenced to death. For her part, the Sudanese mother said she had been brought up a Christian after her father abandoned the family when she was still six years old.
The court had insisted that Ibrahim was a Muslim because her father was one. After she was convicted in May, she was given a three-day leeway to renounce her Christian faith to escape the death sentence.
At the time, Ibrahim was eight months pregnant. She was told that the death sentence would be carried out after two years to allow her to nurse her yet-unborn child.
Ibrahim's case had triggered criticisms worldwide, which grew more intense after she gave birth to her daughter while chained in prison. His son was also with her in Omdurman women's prison.
Over a million people had supported Amnesty International's campaign to free Meriam Ibrahim. The organization said it is now looking into reports of the detention of Ibrahim's family.
