2NE1's CL is currently preparing for her solo debut in the United States this Spring and is reportedly working extra hard in the studio with some of America's top producers.
Yesterday, a source from CL's management agency, YG Entertainment revealed in Star News, "CL, who spent about a month last year in America working on her debut record, returned to the States this month on the 13th and is currently working on it [again]."

"In America, it is typical for the artist to set up a so-called 'camp' at a studio where all of the songwriting, composing and producing happens." The source added. Through CL's talent manager, Scooter Braun's help, she has already "set up a second camp in the America and is continuously working [on the album] with prominent local musicians."
The source continued, "At this second camp, too, the production of the songs for CL's debut has been running smoothly. CL will wrap up the camp in the beginning of February and plans to return to [Korea]. As of now, there is a high probability that this will be the last camp for her U.S. debut album."
Sean Garret, who's behind the hits like Pussy Cat Dolls' "Buttons," Chris Brown's "Run It," and Usher's "Yeah" is one of the most notable associates involved with CL's U.S. debut album. CL recently made headlines when the top producer posted a photo of him and CL on his SNS and captioned the photo, "Wow this young superstar here is so amazing! And "[CL] you know what we'bout to do!"
CL is also currently working on Scooter Braun's SB Projects, the same agency behind Psy's successful debut into the American market. Aside from Psy, Scooter Braun is also widely known for putting Justin Bieber into the limelight and for representing Ariana Grande, one of the hottest singers today.
