Taiwanese artist Blackie Chen has stepped up and spoken in Taiwanese model Pace Wu's defense after rumors broke out that the latter is a 'fair-weather friend' to her celebrity pals Makiyo Kawashima and Dee Hsu.
Previously, rumors which claimed that Wu is a 'fair-weather friend' to Hsu and Makiyo have surfaced, causing netizens to bash the model. According to the reports, Wu has allegedly been keeping her distance from the two artists who are known to be her friends after they have been immersed in controversial issues.

Furthermore, the rumors claim that Wu has remained in contact with the controversy-free Mando-pop singer Christine Fan and has also been trying to establish a close relationship with Fish and Liu Hanya after knowing about their happy marriage. Some even claimed that the model only shared photos of herself and Fan and not those with her controversial friends.
Now, Chen has taken to Weibo to upload a photo of his wife, Fan, after giving birth to their twins, along with her friends which included the model, Dee and Barbie Hsu, Jia Yong Jie and Fish. His course of actions has been specualted as his way to convey his joy for the birth of the twins as well as a way to defend Wu.
He then captioned the photo, "From sisterhood to motherhood, this friendship is so precious! Thank God for blessing my sons with so many beautiful godmothers!"
Wu then reposted the photo on her Weibo account and wrote, "The ward was filled with happiness," and stated that Chen and Fan's babies will grow up well and healthy as they have been welcomed into the world with 'so much love and joy'.
In previous reports, after the rumors were released, Wu has taken to Weibo to retaliate against them, claiming that her close bond with her friend, whom she refers to as her sisters, will never change. "To have each other as friends is an incredible blessing," wrote the model.
