(Photo : Reuters) T-Mobile's Binge On program promises to allow subscribers stream unlimited videos from selected content providers for free.
T-Mobile U.S. reports it's exceeded its targeted postpaid subscriber growth for 2014, reaching 8.3 million customers. This number includes customers that switched from its rivals.
T-Mobile added 4.9 million more postpaid customers. The fourth biggest US wireless carrier reported an increase of 2.1 million customers in the fourth quarter of 2014.

The additional subscribers bring T-Mobile's total client count to over 55 million. During the third quarter 2014, the total customer count stood at 52.9 million.
This rise puts T-Mobile just a bit behind Sprint Communications Inc, which is currently the company's biggest and closest rival. By the end of third quarter, Sprint was already catering to 55 million customers.
One of the reasons behind T-Mobile's continuous growth in client base has something to do with its marketing strategies. The carrier is widely known for making customers stay with it by eliminating monthly contracts.
