After being criticized for showing up tardy and allegedly behaving like a diva, Hong Kong female recording artist G.E.M. Tang is again being criticized by netizens, who mocked her for having 'three seconds memory' after she posted a photo of herself at the Hong Kong Railway, claiming that it was her first time taking the subway since its name was changed.

Tang has been concentrating on her singing career in Mainland China in the last two years and since she had been away from Hong Kong that long, the singer found everything in her homeland refreshing during her recent return - even the matter of taking the subway.
The 23-year old diva has recently taken to Weibo to post a photo of herself while taking a ride at the Hong Kong Railway, smiling for the camera and doing the peace sign. She then captioned the photo, "This is my first time taking the subway after it was renamed to Hong Kong Railway. I am so excited!"
Her seemingly harmless post became the subject of controversy among netizens who doubted her claims, with some pointing out that the name of the subway was changed seven years ago. Some commented that it wasn't possible for Tang not to have taken the subway for such a long time.
One web user divulged that Tang and her sister had been spotted taking the subway just the previous year. It was then that netizens coined the term 'three seconds memory' to allude to the singer. Others have also pointed out that Tang exaggerated her post purposefully in order to gain attention from the public.
After seeing the criticisms on her post, Tang revised the caption, this time saying "It's been a long time since I took the subway. I am so excited!"
