5th Body Found in Annapolis Mansion Rubble

There is only one person missing in a massive fire that gutted the mansion of Annapolis couple Don and Sandra Pyle. The Maryland Fire Department found on Friday a fifth body from the rubble.

On Wednesday and Thursday, four bodies were recovered from the fire that destroyed the mansion on Monday, but so far, none of the recovered corpses have been identified, reports Reuters.

Don Pyle is the chief operating officer of ScienceLogic, a privately held tech firm. His body as well as that of his wife Sandra are considered missing. Also missing are four of their grandchildren. They are siblings Alexis Boone, 8, and Kaitlyn, 7, and another pair of siblings, Wesley, 6, and Charlotte, 8.

The eight-hectare estate of the Pyles include the $6-million mansion and a children's carnival featuring water slides, moon bounces and pony rides.

The four had a sleepover on Sunday at their grandparents' mansion since Monday was a holiday. That day, 56-year-old Don - whom the kids called "Pop-Pop" - and 63-year-old Sandy - whom they called "Dee-Dee" - brought them to Target to purchase costumes, reports Washington Post.

They used the costumes for their visit to the Medieval Times at the Arundel Mills mall where they watched the knights battle and had dinner, banquet-style. The six went back at night to the 16,000 square-foot mansion that neighbors called "The Castle."

The early Monday morning fire burned the mansion to the ground. All six of them are feared to have been trapped inside and burned to their death.

The children of the Pyle couple are Clint and Randy Boone.

Charlotte and Wesley's parents are Clint, 37 and Eve Morrison, 39, who are divorced. Alexis and Kaitlyn's parents are Randy, 38, and Stacey, 34. They have a newborn son who was with them in their own home when their parents' mansion burned.
