South Korean model-actor, Hong Jong Hyun recently opened up about the dating rumors surrounding him and "After School"'s Nana.
A representative from Hong Jong Hyun's agency, Wid May, issued a formal statement on January 23 saying that the two are "just close oppa and dongseng and are not dating."

"It's true that they built their friendship because they were both models but it's not true that they are dating, like it was reported. Please refrain from releasing speculative articles," the agency clarified.
"We would like to thank many people who show their interest in Hong Jong Hyun and we will work hard to show his good sides," the statement added.
Hong Jong Hyun and the model-singer have been both beaten with the dating rumors when a South Korean magazine reported last January 22 that the two have been dating for a few months already.
However, both Hong Jong Yun and Nana officially shot down the dating rumors explaining that they are indeed close but are definitely are not dating.
In fact, a producer of the show "We Got Married" in which Hong Jong Hyun is currently a part of, says they've asked Hong that very question some months back.
"Our program deals with a virtual marriage and there would be problems in the genuinity (sic) of it if even one party is dating in real life. We believe that whoever appears on our show should put in their genuine heart into it so we checked with him. Jong Hyun said he's close friends with Nana. They just met as friends and the scandal created misunderstandings," the producer explained.
