Mandy Moore Divorces Ryan Adams

After almost six years of marriage, singer-actress Mandy Moore has filed for divorce against fellow singer, Ryan Adams. News about their split surfaced just less than a day after Patrick Dempsey's divorce plans were made public.
Representatives for the couple have issued an official statement last Friday. The statement said, "Ryan Adams and Mandy Moore have mutually decided to end their marriage of almost 6 years. It is a respectful, amicable parting of ways. Both Ryan and Mandy ask that the media respect their privacy at this time."

The Tangled actress and the Grammy-nominated singer quietly and privately got married last March 2009 in Savannah, Georgia. According to a source close to the couple, they celebrated their five-year anniversary by hosting a party in their Los Angeles home. Ryan even made a toast for his wife and gratefully thanked her for putting up with his black metal obsession.
The couple has always kept their personal life private. In an interview with Buzzfeed, Ryan revealed, "I'm a private person and I'll be a gentleman and say I'm not talking about my marriage ever. I'll never talk about it. Ever."
Ryan is currently nominated in this years Grammy Awards for best rock song for "Gimme Something Good", a track included in his latest album, Ryan Adams, which was released last September 2014.
As for Mandy, she can be heard in the series' Sheriff Callie's Wild West as Sheriff Callie.
