Kim Sae Ui, a reporter for MBC and chairman of MBC's labor union has been slammed by netizens for dissing SISTAR's Hyorin in a post he uploaded on his Facebook page.
Commenting on Hyorin who appears in one of South Korea's reality television shows, "I Live Alone", Kim Sae Ui said, "Even for someone like me, who likes animals and girl groups, it is really tiring to see SISTAR's Hyorin on 'I Live Alone.' I think she went with a wrong concept. I dislike cats a bit, but as a person who raised cats, I get sick of girls who are either overly religious or who only look at their cats all day. Whatever you do, do it in moderation. Be religious in moderation, and love animals in moderation."

To end his post, he said, "In the future, I don't want to see Hyorin on MBC variety [shows] again."
The reporter quickly deleted his post after it became viral, but his mistake? His privacy setting was set to public and netizens were quick to share the post in different social media platforms and online forums.
Some netizens, as well as viewers, didn't agree with Kim Sae Ui and remarked that he was being too harsh on Hyorin, as well as on the show.
A representative from MBC released a statement and said, "Regarding the post, we don't know what went on. We have to grasp the details of the situation first."
Hyorin has been demonstrating her intense love for animals, especially for cats on "I Live Alone". Not only does the audience get a glimpse of her volunteering at an animal shelter but they can also get an idea of her religious devotion in the show.
