The last time that Holmes graced the small screen was in 2011 when she starred on the miniseries The Kennedys where she played the role of Jacqueline Kennedy.
In Ray Donovan, Holmes is cast as Paige, the cunning yet gorgeous business executive and daughter of billionaire producer Andrew Finney (Ian McShane).
The 35-year-old actress, who rose to fame in the teen drama Dawson's Creek, will also reprise her role in The Kennedys: After Camelot for Reelz Channel and filming is slated to start this spring in Canada.
In between her TV shoots and caring for her kids, the Batman Begins leading lady has her hands full as she gears for her directorial debut in All We Had, the movie version of Annie Weatherwax's novel that tells the story of an impoverished mother (which Holmes will also portray) and her daughter who found a unlikely home in small-town America. She's also co-starring with Ryan Reynolds and Helen Mirren in the film Woman in Gold.
Ray Donovan is centers on the life of an L.A. "fixer" played by Liev Schreiber, which is also Showtime's second-highest rated drama series next to Homeland. Season three is slated to premier this summer.
