Popular singer Jinny Ng, who rose to fame after her song was featured in TVB’s Line Walker, made her a favorite target for media when it came to prying into her personal life.

Though Ng is only 22 years old, she has a preference for older men. Her last relationship was with someone 15 years older than her.
Ng also made the relationship public by posting intimate photos of them kissing through social media. However, the boyfriend’s parents were not in favor of the relationship and they eventually separated.
Coincidentally, Ng developed ovarian cysts after the painful breakup. With both her health and relationship deteriorating, Ng attempted to commit suicide by taking a whole bottle of sleeping pills.
Fortunately, the singer bounced back and started dating 57 year old investor Jason Wong. Though both denied the relationship, there was speculation that they already exclusively dating for over a year now.
When asked about her painful past, Ng nonchalantly denies the suicide attempt. But when asked about Jason Wong, she is all praises.
Ng comes from the Mainland Province of Fujian, where her father used to manage a hotel business. Her whole family was forced to relocate to Hong Kong after the family business fell apart.
Ng was discovered by Andy Hui’s manager at a karaoke club, which she rendered a song along her friends. She juggled time between school and singing stints until she moved to TVB’s The Voice Entertainment Group.
