In a recent interview, Queen of Pop, Madonna revealed what she thought about Taylor Swift; and what she said drove the 'Shake It Off' singer to freak out!

The 56-year old singer had an interview with Australia's Today show and opened up about her modern-day descendants which include Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus and more. She said, "It's good to have princesses. It means there's a lot of pretty dresses around."

She then singled out one of the most popular pop stars for her captivating tracks. Madonna revealed, "I like Taylor Swift. I think she writes some really catchy pop songs. Can't get them out of my head."

Taylor, who heard about what Madonna said about her, quoted the interview and added the caption, "Thanks now I'm dead." Along with the hashtags, "#HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO DEAL WITH THIS #BE COOL TAYLOR STOP BEING EMBARRASSING."

Her "I'm dead," update is probably best explained by an interview she had with Graham Norton, when she explained that her fans love saying "I'm dead."

The 25-year old singer, who admits to checking out the accounts of her followers gushed about how excited her fans were when she invited them to her house so they can listen to her new album 1989. She said, "I love them so much because they always talk about dying!" She then admitted to copying the phrased usually used by her fans. Taylor remarked, "Those were so funny. I think I'm going to die. I'm just gonna die right here. Just dead."

The singer's Tumblr update comes after her Twitter and Instagram accounts were hacked and after the hackers threatened to release nude photos of her.

Taylor, who isn't one to back down, brazenly responded to the hackers with the tweet, "PS any hackers saying they have 'nudes'? Psssh you'd love that wouldn't you! Have fun photoshopping cause you got NOTHING."
