Has Selena Gomez started a habit? The young actress has been snapped puffing a cigarette on the set of her upcoming movie, The Fundamentals of Caregiving. But it's not what you think. Selena was simply shooting a scene for the movie, which also stars Paul Rudd.
Selena was extremely busy with screen tests a few weeks ago and today marks her first day of shooting. As shared by an eyewitness to E! News, Selena only came out when it was time for her to do her scenes and stayed indoors to keep warm. And despite the crew adding more security, Selena was nice enough to meet with fans. Vanessa Barton, one of the fans who were able to meet Selena said, "It was awesome meeting Selena, she's really nice. One of the nicest people I've ever met."

Selena also seems to be extremely excited for the film. She recently posted a photo of her along with her co-stars Paul and Craig Roberts and captioned it, "Hi. This is the Fundamentals of Caregiving. Watch us in a theater soon. Well, let us shoot, edit, hopefully not re-shoot, then release it."
The film is actually based on the book by Jonathan Evison of the same name and is about the story of Ben Benjamin, which Paul plays in the movie, who is in the midst of a divorce and who hardly meets the requirements of a professional caregiver for Trevor, a teenage boy who has muscular dystrophy, played by Craig.
Selena has successfully landed the role of Dot. In the film, she is an opinionated woman who gets a ride with Ben and Trevor, who eventually becomes Trevor's love interest.
Before filming started, Selena was seen cozying up with rumored boyfriend and DJ, Zedd.
