Vine has introduced Vine Kids, a new standalone app made especially for kids.
It aims to promote cute and trendy things but says "No" to creepiness.
Vine was developed by Twitter two years ago and the video-sharing site has been popular since then. Vine users are allowed to create and share looping videos of anything under the Sun but sometimes there are NSFW posts that get through.

Vine Kids is part of an effort to make Vine more wholesome for children and families in general. It has a "fun" feature but sans unwelcome and other adult-related content.
Vine Kids allows kids to swipe right or left. It's even paired with an audible quirky sound. There are also animated characters to make the experience all the more fun.
"One of my colleagues was talking about how much his two-year-old daughter loves Vine -- he said he wished there was a separate app she could use to more easily watch posts that are appropriate for kids", said Carolyn Penner, the head of communications and marketing for Vine.
The new app is already available for download for iOS devices.. It's also on the Apple App Store.
There has been no set date or information released as to when the app will be available for Android-powered devices.
