Clueless Star, Stacey Dash, Speaks Up About Rape; Sparks Outrage

Stacey Dash, one of the stars of the 90s chick flick, Clueless spurred a massive outcry after she was taped saying that rape victims are 'bad girls that like to be naughty."

Dash, who played Dionne in the hit film, appeared on the show Outnumbered on the subject of whether University of Virginia students should simply just avoid parties to avoid sexual violence against them.

The actress thus replied by saying that the advise was 'ridiculous,' and went to suggest that rape victims were 'bad girls who like to be naughty who go out and play and get hurt.'

'I think it's a good thing for the good girls to be told to stay home, be safe,' she added.

'The other bad girls-bad women-are the ones who like to be naughty, might go out and play and get hurt and then, you know.'

'But the other thing about this is that it then blames the alcohol instead of the person who over-drinks.

'So it's like, the same thing with guns. Guns don't kill people; people kill people. Alcohol doesn't get you drunk; you get yourself drunk.'

While the intention of her statements leave a lot of room of misinterpretation, social media has taken it upon themselves to tell off the 90s star and come to the defense of victims of sexual assault-

@LipstickYoda posts:

Stacey Dash forgot to delete her hoeness from the internet before she started victim blaming rape survivors.

@____PantheR adds:

So Stacey Dash basically said that rape victims are to blame for being raped, are irresponsible w/ alcohol, & the men are the victims. WTF?

@BobbyK5446 says:

@REALStaceyDash right, b/c rape victims aren't raped; they get themselves raped. You are disgusting. And pathetic.
