According to her announcement, her new son arrived early this week at the Quiron-Teknon de Barcelona hospital, where she gave birth via C section.
Sasha is the latest addition to the family and is welcomed by the happy couple, including their eldest son, Milan.
The "Hips Don't Lie" singer kept a low profile during her second pregnancy but has always been open about her desire to grow and expand her family.
"I would love to have eight or nine kids with Gerard," she announced in one interview. "My own fútbol team," the 37 year old shared.
It was the singer's mother who first shared the good news about Shakira's second baby, who reportedly said: "es otro varoncito," translating to it's another boy.
As for her husband's parenting style, she said he is "very involved".
"He is always there for him, and that's a big advantage for me as I cannot imagine it any other way," Shakira said.
"When you have a baby, when you feel his love, you feel so at peace with the world," she adds. "You just want to share the good news and share how happy you feel."
Congratulations on the new arrival!
